iSymphony LC24iF56 24-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Black review ,The Good: The price is a cash saver for an 24″ LCD: most 24″ LCD tvs range for $270-$350 plus tax at stores. Setup was really easy. Great size for a small bedroom at 24″ and the design is elite with the clear glass-like on the bottom. Movies and video games look energetic and sharp. Sound is clear and the volume does get loud when turned up. The remote has a channel list (which many remotes do not have), so it’s useful to know what channels proceeds and trails by.

The Bad: Although the LCD tv’s size is good, the resolution is not so great. Certain channels tend to fuzz or have small ridges along the screen. The remote is sensitive: when I am on the menu and move the cursor by using the arrows on the remote, it will change the channel.

The Ugly: The start up and load time are absolutely terrible. The iSymphony takes a longer time for the picture to appear on the screen than other tvs. When changing channels, the picture lags about 8 secs before any images load. It’s pretty annoying since my old RCA tv loaded the images within 2 seconds when the channels changed. Quite disappointing from the iSymphony’s LCD tv.

Overall, the television is promising and reliable for now. Even though the resolution isn’t perfect, it’s exceptional for its low cost and non-popularity. The sound performs at its greatest and does not leave any noise. What needs major improvement is the start up and load time for channels because I sometimes feel that the tv will explode from the amount of lag. I recommend this iSymphony 24″ LCD tv for the low income and minimum budgeteers.

Buy Panasonic VIERA TC-P50G25 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV ,Ok, just like many other reviewers I spent A LOT of time researching which HDTV to purchase. Looked at a good many in brick and mortar stores and read way to many reviews. Finally settled on the G25. Yesterday was the big day. My friend and I put together the new television stand and connected the G25. While it has been less than 24 hours I could not be more pleased. The picture is excellent. I have not changed any settings at all. I will be “playing” with it today and tomorrow. As to sound, I have some hearing loss in my left ear (too many shots with a shotgun over the years) and as far as I am concerned the sound is fine. I have it set at 38 and have no problems. I am not an overly picky surround sound kind of guy so what is good for me is probably unacceptable for many others. The reason I selected this set over many others were the reviews that stated the glare was minimal. If glare is a concern for prospective buyers who are in the market for a 50 inch plasma let me assure you the glare with this set is not an issue. I have six windows and a number of lamps in the room where the television is set up and you have to look for reflection on the screen. The shiny black plastic frame does reflect light quite well! I wonder why they could not make a matte finish. It would help with reflection and finger prints.

The purchase process with Amazon was easy and stress free. The delivery guy called a week before it was due to be here and we set up a time for the next day. I helped him carry it in the house. He opened up the box plugged it in and fired it up. No problems.
